My hair can get dry and brittle but using this has made such a differance. I have ash tones in my hair and it still looks great 4 weeks later ! a well worth item for some one with blonde or light brown hair if you want a bit of a lighter colour. will make very blonde hair go purple.

Does the job in minutes
After my (previously dyed) hair was stripped and toned silvery grey at salons, the professional colour washed out leaving me with peroxide blonde - not the colour I was aiming for. I am growing out my natural grey and wanted to match up the previously dyed hair to the roots as much as possible, while it's fairly on trend to do so. Unable to afford more professional toning, and having lost trust in the professionals I ended up toning my hair at home, which took about an hour each time. The beauty of this product for me is that I can apply it in the shower, leaving it on for only 5 minutes and get the same effect. It goes on more 'lathery' if I wash my hair with ordinary shampoo first. I bought plastic gloves after reading warnings about staining but tbh have found them unnecessary as I've found any 'staining' is mild and washes away easily. The bottle is huge and so I expect it will last for ages as I only need one pump each time I use it to tone my hair. A word of advice for anyone who is doing something similar to myself in embracing their natural grey: once your naturally grey roots grow in, only apply the product to the ends of your hair, avoiding the 'virgin' hair, otherwise the roots end up lilac. A BRILLIANT HAIR PRODUCT FOR BLONDES
My wife has greying hair and finds the colour is now uneven but with this product it appears to not only take out any "Yellowness" but gives the hair a great shine and more body. This is particularly important as my wife has had radio therapy and this product certainly appears to add body to the hair. She would recommend using it just once per week as it could have a tendency to turn the white hair purple if it is used more frequently. It depends on an individuals hair.
